The workstation is compatible with all major analytical instrument manufacturers including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Agilent Technologies, Waters Corporation, Bruker, Shimadzu, Sciex, Perkin Elmer, and Beckman Coulter. Workplace Modular Systems holds named OEM partner status with Waters Corporation, Siemens Diagnostics, and Beckman Coulter, ensuring validated fit and performance.

Multiple work surface materials are available to suit laboratory requirements, including Epoxy Resin, Phenolic Resin, post-formed Plastic Laminate, Stainless Steel, Wood/Butcher Block, and standard Steel. All chemical-resistant surface options comply with SEFA 8 standards, making them suitable for environments where solvent or reagent exposure is a concern.

The Pico Tag HD Workstation features integrated cutouts for tubing and wiring management throughout the frame, keeping cables and fluid lines organized and out of the workflow. The base includes 20 Amp/120 Volt power, and configurations can accommodate computer peripherals, cord management channels, side-mount bottle trays, and freestanding mobile solvent storage trays.

The workstation complies with SEFA 8 chemical resistance standards for laboratory furniture, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for analytical laboratory testing and calibration environments, and is BSL-1 Ready with BSL-2 and BSL-3 configurations currently in development. It is also designed to support OSHA 1910 laboratory safety requirements.

Nine standard sizes and configuration options are available to accommodate a wide range of instrument footprints and laboratory layouts. Beyond these, fully custom configurations are available through Workplace Modular Systems' in-house engineering team. Custom vacuum pump enclosures, special-length work surfaces, and specific OEM instrument footprints can all be accommodated with a 3-week domestic lead time.
